We hope everyone is settling in well for the new school year!

Here’s what’s coming up:

Week 2

Friday, 13 February

• Breakfast Club is back for 2026! – 8:00am–8:30am
  Free, nutritious breakfast for Somerly students.
• The Resilience Project Launch - 8:45am
  Students and staff will take part in the official launch of project from their classrooms, in place of the usual assembly. Parents and carers are warmly invited to join their child/ren in their classes for this special event.
• Somerly P&C Special Meeting – 2:00pm
  There will be a Special P&C meeting to address urgent funding requests and key P&C matters - for more information, click here.

Week 3

Friday, 20 February

• Celebration Assembly (Choir Performance) – 8:45am

Week 4

Somerly Welcome Sundowner – TBC

From 5:30pm
Kindy/PP Grassed Area
All families are welcome - especially those new to Somerly. Bring a picnic rug and enjoy a relaxed evening with a sausage sizzle, ice cream, music and some casual outdoor games. A great way to connect with other Somerly families and kick off the year together

• Clean Up Australia Day

Friday 27 February

• NO SCHOOL - Staff Development Day (Students do not attend)

• Breakfast Club – Wednesdays & Fridays, 8:00–8:30am.
  A free, yummy start to the day for students. (Plans underway to expand to five days a week.) Volunteers and donations warmly welcomed. Please visit here to sign up to volunteer!
• Wednesday Sausage Sizzle – Lunch + juice box available each Wednesday - all proceeds help the school. Order here: https://somerly-pnc.com/ss
• Community Pantry – Open during school hours (Block 1, next to Room 4). Free food for any family who needs it - please help yourselves!
