Alexa Turnbull
Mum of three with a heart for justice and a background in humanitarian law. Thrives on connection and cares deeply about the people around her. Often found volunteering, collecting beach treasures, or tending to her ever-growing indoor jungle.

Sharni Coster
Mum of two and a special needs EA with a love for hiking stores. Runs on faith, fresh air, and caffeine, and is happiest at the beach and/or in the library. Passionate about creating inclusive spaces and making everyday life a little simpler, kinder, and more fun.

Tamara “Tam” Taylor
Mum of two, studying Business Management (HR and Digital Business), with a background in retail operations and store management. Enjoys all things nature. Most likely camping, hiking, or disappearing into the forest with family and friends.

Janelle “Aunty Nell” Smith
Janelle is a wagyl kaip, gnaala karla Boodja Nyoongar yorga living on Whudjuk country raising her son. Janelle has an Early Childhood and Counselling background, and has worked within the Aboriginal community for over 15 years. Now working with Aboriginal children in foster care. Enjoys going to the beach and painting.

Matthew Spencer
Father of two. Deeply committed to his faith and church community. Enjoys watching Star Wars, Aussie cricket, competing in semi-pro bowling, and making meals for hungry kids at Breakfast Club

Marissa Seagal
Mum of four – two out of high school, two still at Somerly. Childcare coordinator and educator who genuinely loves working with kids. Enjoys going out for laughs with friends, spending time with family, and catching live music.

Erin Cole
Mum of two who loves camping, fishing, and family adventures. Volunteers with Story Dogs and enjoys being involved at school. Always up for a girls’ night, beach walks with her two doggos, and a good session at the gym.

Judith “Juju” Jackson
Mum of two girls with a background in health. Cares deeply about kids and people who need support. Runs on iced coffee, creativity, and French Bulldog cuddles.

Laura Spencer
Mum of two with a background in early childhood education and as an education assistant. Passionate about children’s education. Laura is a disability advocate. She loves to read in her downtime. You’ll see her at Breakfast Club and volunteering wherever else she’s needed around the school.

Marika Butchart
Mum of four and long-time Somerly local. Passionate about disability advocacy. Enjoys crafting, jewellery making, gardening, good food, and bringing people together
