The Technology & Digital Systems Subcommittee oversees the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Somerly Primary School P&C’s digital platforms and cloud-based services.

Its work supports the day-to-day operations of the P&C by providing reliable, user-friendly systems that make it easier for families to engage with school events, fundraising initiatives, and volunteering opportunities.

Key platforms supported by the subcommittee include:

  • The P&C online ordering system for fundraising and event initiatives
  • The public P&C website
  • The volunteer coordination and sign-up platform

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining online ordering systems for initiatives such as sausage sizzles and special events
  • Managing and updating the P&C website, ensuring information remains accurate and accessible
  • Supporting volunteer coordination systems that help staff school events and programs
  • Overseeing cloud infrastructure, hosting services, and system integrations
  • Ensuring data security, backups, and platform reliability
  • Identifying opportunities to improve digital services and user experience
  • Bringing forward new system ideas or enhancements for P&C consideration

The subcommittee works closely with the P&C Association to ensure systems align with operational needs, financial governance, and community expectations.
