Father's Day

The Father’s Day Subcommittee is a volunteer group of P&C members who work together to plan and deliver Somerly Primary School’s annual Father’s Day Stall.

The stall provides students with an opportunity to purchase affordable gifts for their dads, grandfathers, carers and other important father figures in their lives, while also raising valuable funds that support P&C initiatives throughout the school.

The subcommittee is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the event, including sourcing gifts, organising volunteers, managing logistics, setting pricing, engaging with local businesses and ensuring the stall runs smoothly for students and families.

In 2026, the subcommittee is also exploring opportunities to expand online ordering options to make participation even easier for families.

The Father’s Day Stall is made possible through the generosity of volunteers who contribute their time, ideas and energy to create a positive experience for our students. Whether helping to source gifts, organise displays, assist on stall days or support planning behind the scenes, every contribution helps make the event a success.

The Father’s Day Subcommittee is established as an ad hoc subcommittee of the Somerly Primary School P&C and operates until the completion of the annual Father’s Day Stall and reporting process.
