Father’s Day Stall Returns Next Week - and the P&C Needs Your Help

The Somerly P&C Father’s Day Stall is back next week, and the P&C is so excited to once again give students the opportunity to choose something special for the fathers and father figures in their lives.

One of the loveliest parts of the stall each year is seeing just how much thought the students put into choosing the right gift. Whether they are shopping for Dad, Grandad, a step-dad, an uncle or another special person, students often take their job very seriously - carefully looking through the options, thinking about what that person would like, and proudly making their final choice.

It is a simple activity, but a really meaningful one, and the P&C is proud to be able to make it available to students across the school again this year.

Can you help at the stall?

To make the Father’s Day Stall possible, the P&C needs volunteers to help throughout the week.

Volunteers assist students as they visit with their classes, help keep the stall organised, restock gifts and generally make sure everything runs smoothly. You don’t need any previous experience, and even a small amount of time can make a big difference.

If you are available to help, the P&C would be incredibly grateful for your support.

The stall is always a busy but very rewarding week, and having enough volunteers means the P&C can give every class a relaxed and enjoyable opportunity to choose their gifts.

Thank you to everyone who helps make the Father’s Day Stall possible each year. The P&C can’t wait to welcome the students next week and see what they choose for the special people in their lives. 💚
