P&C General Meeting - Term 1

Join us for morning tea and our first general meeting of 2026 on Tuesday 10 March at 9:00am in Room 4. This will be a relaxed and welcoming meeting, and a great opportunity for new and prospective members to see what the P&C is all about, how meetings work, and the kinds of things we support across the school community.

At this meeting, members will hear updates on current projects and priorities including fundraising and events, playground planning, canteen and Breakfast Club support, Easter activities, Mother’s Day planning, sustainability initiatives, technology and digital systems, and proposed spending on items and projects that support students and the wider school community. There will also be updates from the President, Treasurer, Principal and Board, giving families a chance to better understand what is happening across Somerly and where the P&C is focusing its efforts this year.

Whether you stay for a short time or the whole meeting, everyone is welcome. No experience is needed and there is no pressure to take on a role. Simply coming along, listening in, and being part of the conversation is a great way to get involved. A yummy morning tea will be provided for all attendees.
