Make a Complaint
If a P&C member has done the wrong thing, tell us. We take it seriously and we will look into it.
If a child is at risk of harm or a crime may have been committed, contact the school or the police directly. This form is not monitored around the clock.
Complaints go to a confidential inbox that is separate from our general contact email. They are handled by an executive member who is not involved in the complaint.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your complaint by email within 5 school days.
- An executive member who is not involved reviews it, and the person it concerns is given a chance to respond.
- We aim to give you an outcome in writing within 20 school days, or let you know if we need longer.
- Complaints are recorded confidentially and only seen by the people handling them.
If your complaint is about the President
If your complaint is about the P&C President, or you are not happy with how it is handled, you can raise it with the school Principal or with WACSSO, the peak body for WA P&C associations.
Not a complaint about a P&C member?
For questions, suggestions, volunteering or event enquiries, use the general contact form or email president@somerly-pnc.com. Concerns about a teacher or anything else at the school should go to the school office, not the P&C.
