Make a Complaint

If a P&C member has done the wrong thing, tell us. We take it seriously and we will look into it.

If a child is at risk of harm or a crime may have been committed, contact the school or the police directly. This form is not monitored around the clock.

Complaints go to a confidential inbox that is separate from our general contact email. They are handled by an executive member who is not involved in the complaint.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your complaint by email within 5 school days.
  2. An executive member who is not involved reviews it, and the person it concerns is given a chance to respond.
  3. We aim to give you an outcome in writing within 20 school days, or let you know if we need longer.
  4. Complaints are recorded confidentially and only seen by the people handling them.

If your complaint is about the President

If your complaint is about the P&C President, or you are not happy with how it is handled, you can raise it with the school Principal or with WACSSO, the peak body for WA P&C associations.

Tell us what happened

Give us as much detail as you can. You will get a copy by email.

A role is fine if you are not sure of the person's name.

Not a complaint about a P&C member?

For questions, suggestions, volunteering or event enquiries, use the general contact form or email president@somerly-pnc.com. Concerns about a teacher or anything else at the school should go to the school office, not the P&C.
